WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

JSJ WARRANTY

  1. Scope of Warranty: JSJ Roofing (“We”, “Our”, or “Us”) warrants the roofing services provided under this invoice to be free from defects in workmanship and materials as follows:
    • 5 years specifically for repointing.
    • 2 years from the date of completion for general workmanship and materials.
    • 2 years for non-structural repairs.
  2. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
    • Natural disasters, e.g., storm damage.
    • Cosmetic or performance defects due to normal wear and tear.
    • Defects or damages from the normal aging of materials.
    • Damages from acts of God such as hurricanes, tornadoes, hail, earthquakes, etc.
    • Fires, accidents, misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance.
    • Changes, repairs, or alterations by anyone other than JSJ Roofing or its authorized representatives.
    • Damages due to foot traffic or unauthorized individuals on the roof.
  3. Void of Warranty: This warranty is voided if:
    • Unauthorized individuals walk over the roof after service completion.
    • The roof has modifications, repairs, or maintenance by entities other than JSJ Roofing or its authorized reps.
  4. Claim Process:
    • Email info@jsjroofing.com.au with the subject “Warranty Claim”.
    • Attach a copy of this invoice as warranty proof.
    • Allow reasonable inspection time for the alleged defect or damage.
  5. Limitations: JSJ Roofing’s liability is limited to either repairing the defect or replacing the defective roofing service part. We aren’t liable for incidental or consequential damages.
  6. Transferability: This warranty is exclusive to the original purchaser on the invoice and cannot be transferred.
  7. Amendments: Changes to this warranty must be written and co-signed by both parties.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Wakaflex Warranty:

  • Guaranteed for 10 years from installation if installed as per guidelines.
  • Excludes damages from incorrect installation, accidental damages, and acts of God or unforeseen events.

BlueScope Steel Warranty:

  • COLORBOND® steel: Up to 36 years against corrosion by natural elements from installation.
  • ZINCALUME® steel: Up to 30 years against corrosion by natural elements from installation.
  • Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for full terms and additional details.
